community action network does not provide housing assistance.
We provide programs and services to help stabilize families to different degrees within specific communities: Hikone, Green Baxter Court, Bryant, Arrowwood Hills, Mitchell, and Brick.

CAN provides meals for its children & youth during After School Programs & Educational Summer Camps, as well as weekly food distributions & on-site emergency food pantries for families within the communities with whom CAN partners.

Support & Advocacy
CAN assists families in the specific communities the organization is located with DTE shut-off, eviction prevention, and navigating DHHS.
Depending on the situation, we can also refer families to relevant service providers/resources.
