CAN's Response to Covid-19

Over the summer, CAN will be operating its summer programs virtually. All of CAN's food programs are open (except for CAN's programs at Brick and Mitchell Elementary).

We are constantly in communication with our families to figure out how we can be meeting their needs during this time, whether that's through safe/virtual emotional support, meeting basic needs, or partnering with and referring our families to various organizations and resources throughout the county.

How can you help?

1. Donate financially to our food program (www.canwashtenaw.org/donate)

2. Donate food or hygiene items to any CAN location (visit

3. Make a Meal: prepare a meal/snack for students (www.canwashtenaw.org/make-a-meal-volunteer)

If you or anyone you know needs food please direct them to:

CAN's Bryant Community Center Market (3. W. Eden Ct., Ann Arbor, MI 48108) which is open to all Washtenaw County residents. (www.canwashtenaw.org/bryant)

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact one of CAN's community center directors.

We will continue to update you if anything changes.

Thank you and please stay safe,

Your friends at CAN
