Christine Snyder, Director

Christine Snyder has worked in education since 1999 as a teacher, administrator, author, and trainer/coach. She is a PhD candidate in educational studies with a focus on Urban Education at Eastern Michigan University, where she also teaches part-time in the College of Education. Christine holds a MA in early childhood education and a BS in child development. She serves as Director of Child and Family Care at the University of Michigan and works as an independent early childhood consultant, developing and facilitating training across the U.S. and authoring six early childhood resource books. Christine also volunteers on several local and national boards, advocating for equitable access to high-quality education; her current roles include Consulting Editor for NAEYC, member of the MiAEYC Advocacy Committee, and board member for both Community Action Network and Child Care Network.
