Bryant Market Program Assistants kindly welcome and greet all clients with cultural competence that meets CAN's standards. They maintain client records and upload information into the program database, conduct client intakes and consistently record program participation, assist in the distribution of perishable and nonperishable products to a diverse population, and manage food pantry inventory (purge expired food, organize food, etc.). Program Assistants also Identify and execute food program process improvements, implement food program satisfaction surveys, update food resource information as needed, maintain a clean and organized environment.
This Fall, our programs may look different than normal as we practice the CDC Safety Guidelines in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Qualified candidates:

Encompass strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsible for overall leadership of the daily operations of CAN's Brick Community Center located at Brick Elementary. This individual is responsible for creating a positive, warm, and structured culture/atmosphere in the community center among 15-30 children and youth. Management responsibilities include hiring, supervision, and evaluation of interns, program ssistancs, and volunteer groups. Primary responsibility of the site's After School Prgraom, Family/Housing Stabilization, and Community Building services. During the summer, the DIrector will have primary responsibility for Brick's Summer Camp program. Position is responsible for compliance with personnel policies, quality assurance, and conditions of grants and contracts applicable to programs and services at the site.
Our programs will look different than normal as we practice the CDC Safety Guidelines in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Qualifications:

Education and experience- BSW or Education-related field with minimum of 3 years experience in a human service organization; MSW preferred with at least 1 year experience in similar setting

Certification/Licensure - Michigan Social Work License preferred

Valid Michigan chauffeur's driver's license is preferred

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

يعمل مُيسّرو برنامج CAN الصيفي مع فريق مُختص لإدارة برنامج صيفي تعليمي لمدة ستة أسابيع في أحد مواقع CAN المتعددة، بالشراكة مع طلاب الصف الأول إلى السادس الابتدائي للمشاركة في أنشطة ممتعة وتفاعلية تُركز على موضوع "الصحة" ومنع فقدان التعلم الصيفي. سيُقام المخيم هذا العام في الهواء الطلق بحضور شخصي في الغالب مع ارتداء الكمامات.
أصبح هذا المنصب ممكنًا من خلال برنامج AmeriCorps Summer Associate.
