Story

Community Action Network (CAN) was founded in 1987 by Cathy Baldwin, a resident of the Hikone public housing neighborhood in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Nancy Bogen, an administrator. These two grassroots leaders managed the organization for 15 years, focusing on meeting the needs of the Hikone community. (Read more)
